I’d love suggestions

I’m thinking of creating a Progressive Christian blog that is liberal/libertarian slanted. I’m so sick and tired of the hypocritical bigots that claim to be our christian role models. They’re giving us a bad name and I want to see real christianity reaching out for once. I’m tired of complaining and not doing anything myself. While a website/blog will be a very very small help to bringing real christianity back, I figure it’s a step in the right direction and it’s something I can do…
It will be positive LGBTQ, sex positive, pro-tolerance, pro-choice, and enthusiastic about the true christian message which is to LOVE one another. However, I’m afraid of how to go about this. So far all I can think is that I’ll be posting tons of resources, charity sites, and excerpts from books that are educational, inspiring, and helpful… etc. I’d probably write an occasional blog entry and try to keep a nice collection of prayers. Any other ideas or suggestions? I’d LOVE to hear them.
Should I fear getting any hate mail if I were to go about such a site/blog? If so, I shouldn’t let this stop me but I do admit, it’s an intimidating thought…
